Job Description

As a Data Privacy Analyst, you will work within the Data Privacy Unit, constantly improving and supporting Data Protection Program within MediaAz globally. Your role would require expertise in EU data protection law, any experience with US data protection law would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Manage ongoing records management, perform data inventories and mappings, and risks evaluations
Prepare DPIA and TIA to assess risks of internal and external data processing operations, communicate risks to stakeholders
Work with other business units to find solutions to minimize risks, lead and resolve incidents involving data privacy
Review and negotiate data processing agreements and respond to data privacy questions of vendors and customers
Review, update and draft privacy policies and procedures, communicate to key stakeholders
Monitor and advise on data protection regulatory and practice developments in Ciklum Group jurisdictions, including the EEA, US and Eastern European countries
Research regulatory updates and data protection latest news and inform your manager, proactively suggest improvements and drive changes to ensure compliance
Keep track of project milestones, deadlines and communicate with project managers and stakeholders
Collaborate with the Information Security team on overlapping initiatives and responsibilities
Independently carry out fieldwork which includes analysing documentation provided as part of our engagements
Develop and implement data protection awareness program within internal operational units, such as HR and Talent Resourcing, to educate personnel on data protection

Skill & Experience

Information security, legal or compliance background with in-depth data privacy training and experience
CIPP/E, CIPM or other privacy certification would be a plus
Good knowledge of relevant data protection regulations, particularly in the EU/EEA and US
Technical knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining data security and privacy programs within a technology environment (Talent Acquisition and HRMS)
Experience of implementing ISO international standards and preparing for certification audits
Advanced English
Previous experience of working with multiple stakeholders and multiple suppliers
Previous experience in internal audits and inventory performance
The ability to work both independently and within a team
Attention to detail and ability develop and apply data protection requirements (many of which are new or require interpretation) to complex problems.
